“The thing was so loose. I got on the brakes extra hard and we spun. It happens. It was just a racing thing. We were already having a rough day. The setup was off and everyone was working their butts off. It was just the end to a bad day.
Grigas is ready for his luck to change for the better.
“I mean, it was just stupid, stupid, stupid stuff that has been happening lately that has been hurting us lately. The wiring shorted out and burnt out the harness and then blew up the MSD boxes. That was something that you never could have foreseen happening.”
When Bobby Grigas, III and his Triple G Scaffolding team left their Massachusetts shop to attend the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour season opener at Caraway Speedway (NC), they brought a top-notch pit crew and a trailer full of equipment. However, they didn’t have one important thing on their trip.

From missing much of practice due to a pesky wiring problem to getting caught up in wrecks to a strange incident under caution, Grigas didn’t have any good luck all weekend. He toughed it out and brought home a 14th-place finish at Caraway. It was Grigas’ first time at the track.
