Bobby Grigas, III was poised for a good finish in the North South Shootout at Concord Motorsport Park (NC) on Saturday night.  But a mid-race wreck on lap 58 left him and his #09 out of the running.  The damage to the #09 was too much for it to continue and Grigas was credited with a finish of 31st.
“The castor arm broke, the A-frame got bent, the sway bar was broke,” said after the wreck.  “But my team did a heck of a job this weekend. We struggled there at times during the heat race and then during the consi race we finally got it together.  During our pit stop, we made a bad call. We should have pitted when everyone else did but we went around a lap and then decided to pit. We thought that everything was going to work out great because the car was fast for the race but stuff happens.  It just stinks. It cost so much money to come here and then to end this way, to not finish. We have to write it off as another learning experience and go forward from here.”

The race was the final event for Grigas during the 2007 season.
