THOMPSON SPEEDWAY UP NEXT FOR BOBBY GRIGAS III
Icebreaker is First Mod Tour Challenge For Young Driver
“Thompson is a fun track,” added Grigas. “If your car is not totally handling perfect you might not win, but you can still have a good finish. I like Thompson a lot. It is a forgiving track for handling but not when you wipe out so you just have to make sure you keep the car in good shape.
“I think that we will be good enough to be up front but our main goal is to just have a good finish and to bring home the car in one piece. We want to get the season started off right.”
Grigas will be back in action this weekend at Thompson Speedway as part of the Icebreaker Weekend. The green flag is scheduled to wave at 3:15pm.

Bobby Grigas III hasn’t been racing in a Modified for very long, but one wouldn’t be able to tell that by looking at his list of results. In only his first year of Modified racing he was able to bring home two victories. Now he has the chance to bring home what could be one of his biggest victories of the year; The Thompson Icebreaker.
“We have been really busy these past few weeks,” said Grigas. “We have been getting everything in order and ready to go for this weekend and I am definitely excited. We just want to be able to finish well and bring home the car in one piece. I am just psyched to start off the 2007 NASCAR Whelen Mod Tour season.”
Thompson is a track that Grigas has a fair amount of experience on, and he is looking forward to the opportunity to race there again, this time as part of the Mod Tour.
