BOBBY GRIGAS III READY TO TAKE AIM AT WALL TOWNSHIP
Young Driver Set to Continue Hot Streak This Weekend

The newer car in Grigas’ stable hasn’t been a slouch either.  The young driver has wheeled it to two Sunoco Rookie of the Race awards in the first two starts of the season.  He currently sits eighth in the Tour standings after two races, ranked ahead of veterans like Ted Christopher, Mike Stefanik and Tony Hirschman.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Wall is scheduled for this Sunday, May 6th.

Sometimes a driver will bring a good luck charm to a track that he has never been to before.  After all, going someplace unfamiliar can be a challenge, so any advantage could be valuable.

Bobby Grigas, III isn’t going to Wall Township Speedway (NJ) for this weekend’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race with a rabbit’s foot or a four-leave clover though.  He’s bringing a lucky car.  Well actually, it is not just lucky.  It’s good.

“I’ve never even seen the place before, but I’m not worried, because I’m taking my old car there,” said Grigas.  “It is a car that I can bring anywhere and have it be fast.  We won with it twice last year and it was very fast at Thompson before we crashed.  With that car, I’m not worried.”
