Grigas Takes a Step in the Right Direction With Top-10 Run
Solid Eighth-Place Finish at Chemung Speedway
Bobby Grigas III has finally put an end to the bad luck after he came home with a solid eighth-place finish at Chemung Speedway (NY). The Whelen Modified Sophomore driver has had some rough luck the last couple of weeks, including rear-end trouble at Martinsville Speedway (VA) and a wreck at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NH). Chemung was a different story as Grigas ran strong, posting a solid top-10 finish.
For Grigas it was his best finish since he finished third at Thompson Int’l Speedway (CT) back in April. Grigas also won the pole during that event. Currently he sits 16th in the Whelen Modified Tour point standings.
Grigas will look to close in to the top 10 in points as the Modified tour heads to Stafford Motor Speedway on October 12th. The tour will be a part of the annual Fall Final at Stafford.
